Ismail Lasim has officially been sworn in as the new Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan during a ceremony held at Istana Besar Seri Menanti. The oath-taking marks the beginning of his tenure as the state’s new leader following the conclusion of the Negeri Sembilan state election.
The ceremony was conducted in accordance with royal protocol and attended by state dignitaries and government officials. With his appointment now formalised, Ismail assumes responsibility for leading the Negeri Sembilan state administration and overseeing the implementation of policies aimed at serving the people and driving the state’s development.
Following the swearing-in, attention will now turn to the formation of the new State Executive Council (Exco), which will support the Menteri Besar in governing the state. The new administration is expected to focus on strengthening economic growth, improving public services, and addressing the needs of Negeri Sembilan residents.
