Sunway Theme Parks has expressed regret over an incident at Sunway Lagoon that left 10 visitors with minor injuries, while confirming that it is cooperating fully with authorities conducting a detailed investigation.

The company said the safety and well-being of its guests remain its highest priority. Following the incident, its immediate focus has been on providing medical assistance, care and other necessary support to those affected. The company has also maintained close communication with the visitors involved and their families.

According to Subang Jaya District Police Chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, the incident involved a roller coaster at the theme park and occurred at approximately 9pm on Saturday. A police report was subsequently lodged at 11.45am on Sunday.

Sunway Theme Parks said it takes the incident seriously and will continue assisting the relevant authorities throughout the investigation. It also reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high safety standards across all its attractions and facilities.
