KUALA PILAH, Aug. 7 — Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim will oversee three major portfolios in the state administration for the 2026–2031 term.
The portfolios are Islamic Religious Affairs and Security; Finance, Land and Natural Resources; and Investment, Infrastructure, Utilities, Communications and Felda. Ismail also announced a 10-member State Executive Council, including the retention of Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli and Mustapha Nagoor.
Ismail reminded the newly appointed executive councillors to carry out their responsibilities with commitment and ensure that the welfare, harmony and development of Negeri Sembilan remain priorities. The state government is also considering representation for the Indian and Orang Asli communities in the administration.
