KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan held separate bilateral discussions with his counterparts from Palestine and Algeria, reaffirming Malaysia’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and cooperation with both countries.
In his meeting with Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, discussions focused on the situation in Palestine and Malaysia’s continued support for the Palestinian people. The engagement also provided an opportunity to exchange views on humanitarian concerns and developments in the region.
Mohamad also met Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf, with both sides discussing ways to further strengthen Malaysia-Algeria relations and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The bilateral meetings reflect Malaysia’s continued diplomatic engagement with international partners and its efforts to strengthen cooperation on regional and global issues.
