The Ministry of Health (MOH) is reviewing contracts related to Facility Delivery Services (FDS) as part of efforts to assess the implementation and effectiveness of services at the ministry’s healthcare facilities.
Health Director-General Datuk Dr Mahathar Abd Wahab said the review is being carried out to ensure the contracts remain relevant to current requirements and that the services provided meet the standards expected by MOH.
The assessment covers several aspects of the existing arrangements, including the delivery and management of FDS at health facilities. Any improvements identified through the review will be considered to strengthen service quality and ensure public healthcare facilities continue to operate effectively.
MOH will continue monitoring the implementation of the contracts and take appropriate measures where necessary, with the quality and continuity of healthcare services remaining a key priority.
