Speaking to the media, Ismail said the list of Exco members has already been prepared following discussions within the coalition. However, the appointments can only proceed after receiving royal approval in accordance with the state’s constitutional process.
Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ismail Lasim has confirmed that the proposed line-up for the State Executive Council (Exco) has been finalised and is now awaiting the consent of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan before it can be officially announced.
He expressed confidence that the new administration will be able to begin work soon once the Exco is sworn in, enabling the state government to focus on fulfilling its responsibilities and delivering on its commitments to the people.
The announcement of the new Exco is expected in the coming days after royal consent is granted, marking the completion of the state’s post-election government formation process.
