IPOH, Aug. 12 — Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk) has lodged reports with the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) over serious allegations circulated on social media involving the corporation, its management and certain individuals.
PKNPk said several posts from a Facebook page had repeatedly published allegations which it described as unverified. The corporation said such claims could affect its reputation and credibility, as well as public and investor confidence.
The reports were made between July 30 and August 3, 2026, with the matter now referred to the authorities for investigation and further action under existing laws. PKNPk also said it had obtained legal advice and would take appropriate steps to protect its interests and integrity.
The corporation stressed that it remains committed to carrying out its responsibilities based on integrity, accountability and the interests of Perak
