KUALA LUMPUR: Renowned Malaysian fashion designer Datuk Rizalman Ibrahim has shared that his adopted son, Umar Nail, was critically injured after an accident involving an ice truck at Wangsa Walk.
According to Rizalman, Umar had been walking along a pedestrian pathway when he suddenly came into contact with an ice truck that was reversing. He ended up underneath the vehicle and was run over, resulting in complications involving his internal organs.
Umar’s condition was initially serious enough for doctors to carry out emergency surgery. Rizalman said his son is now under close observation by medical specialists as he continues to receive treatment.
Rizalman also expressed his appreciation to members of the public who were at the scene and immediately came forward to help. He thanked everyone who assisted with Umar’s treatment and those who have continued to pray for his recovery.
