SPAIN AND ARGENTINA CHASE WORLD CUP GLORY AND US$50 MILLION PRIZE

The 2026 FIFA World Cup reaches its climax as Spain and Argentina prepare to battle for the championship in the final, with both teams aiming to lift football’s most prestigious trophy and claim a US$50 million winners’ prize.

Spain head into the final in impressive form after eliminating France in the semi-finals, while defending champions Argentina booked their place by defeating England to stay on course for back-to-back World Cup titles.

For Spain, victory would secure their second FIFA World Cup crown, having previously won the tournament in 2010. Argentina, meanwhile, are seeking a fourth world title after triumphs in 1978, 1986 and 2022.

Besides the prestige of becoming world champions, the winning team will receive US$50 million in prize money, while the runners-up will also earn a substantial financial reward.

With two of international football’s strongest teams set to meet, fans around the world are expecting an exciting and closely contested final to decide the 2026 FIFA World Cup champions.
