SEPANG: All 10,000 MADANI tickets allocated for Malaysians for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) have been sold out. The tickets were offered at RM200 each.
Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari said there are currently no plans to increase the ticket quota, although the government may consider opening additional viewing areas before the event. More than 110,000 spectators are expected based on the circuit’s available capacity.
The F1 event is scheduled to take place at SIC from October 2 to 4, 2026. A total of 500 Rakan Muda volunteers will also be deployed to assist with customer service, ticketing, entry management, guest relations and the MADANI viewing area.
Another 500 volunteers will be assigned for the MotoGP event from October 30 to November 1, bringing the total number of volunteers involved in the two major motorsport events to 1,000.
