Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has shared a heartfelt message about his upcoming marriage to singer and actress Bella Astillah, saying he does not have a “dream wedding” because what matters most to him is having his “dream wife.”
The couple are set to tie the knot on 10 October 2026, with preparations for their big day already about 60% complete. Syed Saddiq said he is not particular about having a lavish ceremony and has given Bella the freedom to make many of the decisions regarding their wedding plans.
Bella, whose full name is Dayang Ara Nabellah Awang Astillah, described Syed Saddiq as easy-going throughout the preparations. She said both families are happy and involved in planning the celebrations, with their parents’ blessings remaining an important part of the process.
Apart from their wedding ceremony, celebrations are also being planned in Muar and Sabah, allowing relatives, friends and others close to the couple to share in their special occasion.
Syed Saddiq and Bella previously became engaged on 28 March 2026, and the couple are now counting down to their wedding in October.
